Terms of Service
Terms of Service
These terms remain available at /terms-of-service for direct Discord application review and normal public access.
Introduction
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Adobo BOT, an independent Discord automation application developed and operated by zxyandreay. Adobo BOT provides Discord server functionality and related administrative tools for configured servers.
Acceptance of the Terms
By installing, authorizing, configuring, or using Adobo BOT, the server owner, administrator, or other authorized user agrees to these terms on behalf of the Discord server they manage. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install, configure, or use Adobo BOT.
Eligibility and Authority
A person who adds or configures Adobo BOT must:
- Meet Discord's eligibility requirements.
- Have authority to act for the Discord server.
- Have permission to install and configure bots for that server.
Service Description
Adobo BOT is a Discord automation application for small-community administration. Depending on how a server administrator configures it, Adobo BOT may provide custom commands, embed templates, welcome messages, server-specific settings, Discord actions such as sending or editing bot messages, and local administrative dashboard tools.
Some features require the bot process, local API, custom-command runtime, and Discord action bridge to be running. The public website is separate from those services.
Discord Platform Terms
Use of Adobo BOT also depends on Discord's platform, APIs, permissions, community rules, developer policies, and any rules set by the Discord server where the bot is used. Adobo BOT does not replace those separate obligations.
Server Administrator Responsibilities
Server administrators are responsible for:
- Configuring Adobo BOT appropriately for their server.
- Assigning only the Discord permissions needed for the features they enable.
- Reviewing custom commands, regex patterns, templates, embeds, and welcome messages.
- Ensuring their use of Adobo BOT complies with applicable law and server rules.
- Informing server members about relevant bot processing where required.
- Restricting access to the local dashboard and internal services.
Custom Content and Configurations
Server administrators and authorized users are responsible for administrator-created content and configuration, including custom-command source, embed templates, welcome messages, regex patterns, scheduled actions, stored command values, channel restrictions, role restrictions, and other server-specific settings.
You must not use Adobo BOT to create, store, send, schedule, or automate illegal, abusive, deceptive, infringing, malicious, or privacy-invasive content.
Acceptable Use
You must not use Adobo BOT to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or target people or groups.
- Send spam, scams, fraud, impersonation, or deceptive content.
- Conduct unauthorized surveillance or credential theft.
- Distribute malware or facilitate unauthorized access.
- Store, generate, or distribute illegal content.
- Infringe another person's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights.
- Circumvent Discord enforcement or server moderation decisions.
- Disrupt Discord, Adobo BOT, or related infrastructure.
Permissions
Adobo BOT features may require Discord permissions such as viewing channels, sending messages, embedding links, managing messages, adding reactions, or managing roles. Removing permissions may limit or disable related functionality.
Granting Discord permissions to Adobo BOT does not transfer server ownership and does not give the developer unrestricted control over your server.
Availability and Changes
Adobo BOT is provided on an as-available basis. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, configuration changes, hosting issues, Discord API changes, or service discontinuation. Continuous availability is not guaranteed.
Suspension and Termination
Access to Adobo BOT may be limited or terminated for terms violations, security risks, Discord requirements, legal requirements, abuse, or discontinuation of the service.
A server administrator may stop using Adobo BOT by removing the bot from the Discord server. Removing the bot stops future bot processing for that server, but stored configuration may be preserved and marked as disconnected until it is deleted through supported dashboard actions, by the operator, or through a valid deletion request.
Third-Party Services
Adobo BOT relies on Discord to provide Discord application and server functionality. This public website may be hosted by Vercel, Cloudflare Pages, or another configured static website provider. Discord and those website hosting providers are independent third-party platforms with their own terms, policies, and practices.
Intellectual Property
Adobo BOT's original software, branding, and documentation belong to their respective owner. These terms do not claim ownership of Discord, Discord server content, or content created by server administrators or users. You must respect third-party rights when using Adobo BOT.
Feedback
If you voluntarily submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, that feedback may be used to improve Adobo BOT without creating a confidentiality obligation. This does not give Adobo BOT ownership of private server content.
Disclaimers
Adobo BOT is provided "as is" and "as available." The operator does not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every risk, or suitable for every server's needs.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, server disruption, or Discord enforcement actions arising from use or inability to use Adobo BOT.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, server administrators are responsible for claims arising from their unlawful misuse of Adobo BOT, their administrator-created content, or their violation of another person's rights.
Changes to These Terms
Updated terms will be posted on this page, and the effective or last-updated date will be changed when the terms materially change. Continued use of Adobo BOT after an update means acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting any mandatory rights or protections that may apply where you live. No specific jurisdiction is selected by these terms.
